Sounds of Learning TM Ravel's L'enfant et les sortilèges and Puccini's Gianni Schicchi Wednesday, April 22, 2009 at 6:15 p.m. Students in the Opera Company of Philadelphia's Sounds of Learning TM program saw the final dress rehearsal of Ravel's enchanting L'enfant et les sortilèges and Puccini's wickedly comic, Gianni Schicchi, on Wednesday, April 22nd. The operas are both comedic and teach great lessons about morality and love. The production for L'enfant is whimsical and filled with monumental projections, while Gianni Schicchi, could have stepped out of a 1920s art-deco painting.
